An Unknown businessman from Pakistan donated 30 million US dollars to Turkey and Syria earthquake victims.

On Monday, the death count in Turkey and Syria surpassed 33,000, and stories of miraculous survival continue to inspire thousands of rescuers sifting through debris in freezing temperatures.

In the middle of all the chaos, great news of humanity came into the limelight; an unknown businessman from Pakistan is currently staying in the United States of America and has donated around 30 million US dollars.

It’s just help from his side for the Turkey and Syria earthquake victims.

Also, the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Shehbaz Sharif, has praised the anonymous Pakistani businessman in his tweets.

As Pakistan PM Tweeted, “Deeply impacted by the example of an unknown Pakistani who walked into Turkish embassy in the US & donated $30 million for earthquake victims in Türkiye & Syria. These are such glorious doing of philanthropy that enables humanity to triumph over the apparently insurmountable odds.”

But isn’t it weird that his own country is in such a huge crisis, rather than helping his own nation, that businessman is helping another nation? Let us know what you think in the comments.

Yousuf Erim, a well-known journalist from the TRT world, has also shared a few words of appreciation for the businessman. Here is what he says, “Afers, a businessman from Pakistani, entered the Turkish embassy in the United States and contributed $30 million himself anonymously. We don’t know his name. His identity has not been revealed.”

An earthquake with a magnitude of 7.7 struck southern Turkey and northern Syria at dawn on February 6, followed hours later by the other with a magnitude of 7.6 and several aftershocks, resulting in huge losses of life and property in both countries.
