Irrfan Khan death on April 29, 2020, at the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai. He was interprete with neuroendocrine cancer in 2018 and had been undergoing treatment for nearly two years.

On Friday, actor Pankaj Tripathi, a 2004 graduate of Delhi’s National School of Drama, paid tribute to late actor Irrfan Khan. Irrfan graduated from NSD in 1984 as well. Irrfan khan actor passed away on April 29, 2020, after a two-year battle with a neuroendocrine tumor.

In 1995, Irrfan married Sutapa Sikdar, whom he met while studying at the National School of Drama.

Babil and Ayan are the couple’s two sons. Irrfan Khan, in addition to making a name for himself in the Hindi film industry. Pankaj is seen sitting inside NSD in a video share by Delhi Times, saying, “Every actor from our generation, almost every actor, has been inspired by Irrfan.”

Every time I am ask to talk about him, I get emotional. I’m not able to say much about him. He has greatly inspired everyone, whether it is for craft, intellect, on-screen and off-screen behaviour, or how to view acting. When he acted, we took notice of how he did it. He was deviating from the formula. I’ve only seen Irrfan Sir’s films. In total, I’ve seen 50-60 Hindi films.”
