Amidst the forecast of heavy to extremely heavy rain by the Meteorological Department in Gujarat, heavy rain is falling in the Kutch district, accompanied by gusty winds. Since yesterday, 15 inches of rain have fallen in Rapar so far. Heavy rain has been recorded in the Bhachau and Nakhatrana areas. According to the instructions of the Collector and DDO, due to heavy rain, educational activities will be closed in all Anganwadis as well as primary, secondary, and higher secondary schools in Kutch district on Monday (September 8, 2025), and a holiday has been declared for children.
