PM congratulates women’s cricket team for Asian Games Gold

Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated India’s women’s cricket team on their gold medal win at the Asian Games on Monday. 

Modi also complimented the 10m air rifle men’s team on their gold medal triumph at the Games and praised the performance of other medalists and players.

Daughters are keeping tricolor flying, says PM: 

“What a magnificent performance by our cricket team in winning Women’s Cricket gold at the Asian Games.” “The entire country is celebrating their incredible achievement,” he remarked. 

“With their talent, grit, skill, and teamwork, our daughters also keep the tricolor flying high in the sporting arena.” “Congratulations on your outstanding victory,” he continued.

Further, PM says on Asian Games Gold:

He praised the air rifle team that won the gold. “Our fantastic shooters from the 10m Air Rifle Men’s Team, Rudrankksh Patil, Divyansh Panwar, and Aishwarya Pratap Tomar, have won the gold in a truly awe-inspiring manner as they did so while shattering the world record.”

He congratulated the champions on their outstanding display of skill and effort and wished them further success. 

He congratulated the rowing men’s quadruple sculls team of Satnam Singh, Parminder Singh, Sukhmeet, and Jakar Khan on winning the bronze medal, saying their achievement had made the country proud.

He also congratulated the men’s 25m rapid-fire pistol trio of Anish Bhanwala, Vijayveer Sidhu, and Adarsh Singh on their bronze medal.

The Prime Minister also thanked Aishwary Pratap Tomar, who won bronze in the 10m air rifle event, as well as Ashish, Bheem Singh, Jaswinder Singh, and Punit Kumar, who won bronze in the men’s coxless four rowing team.
