PM Modi post the groundbreaking ceremony in Ayodhya
says that the Ram Mandir will inspire the entire humanity till eternity.
On August 5, Wednesday, the
founding stone of the proposed Ram Temple was laid on the much-disputed land in Ayodhya, in groundbreaking ceremony, by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. PM Modi, dressed in golden colored dhoti-kurta,
performed the Bhoomi pujan of Ram Mandir and returned to the disputed
Ayodhya site, after nearly 30 years and said that centuries of wait had ended.
Amid the chants of Jai Siya Ram and Bharat Mata ki Jai, PM Modi addressed the
175 people in attendance and said that a grand temple would be built for Ram
Lalla, who has been living under a tent for many years.
Ram temple is a modern symbol
of India’s culture, says PM Modi:
PM Modi shared the dais with RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Trust chief Nritya Gopaldas Maharaj, and Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel. PM Modi also predicted that the temple will become the modern symbol of India’s tradition and culture. He said,” It’ll become a symbol of our devotion, our national sentiment. This temple will also symbolize the power of the collective resolution of crores of people. It will keep inspiring future generations.”
Ram still resides in our
hearts, says PM Modi:
PM Modi also highlighted the
positive attributes of Lord Ram and said that Ram belongs to all. The PM
stated, ”Despite efforts to eradicate the existence of Lord Ram, he still lives
in our heart and is the basis of our culture. Ram is everywhere, Ram belongs to
all.” PM Modi first offered prayers at the Hanuman Garhi temple and then went to
the Ram Janmabhoomi and performed the “sashtaang pranam” twice to Ram Lalla.
UP CM Yogi lauded PM Modi’s
efforts for paving the road to the construction of the temple an RSS Chief
Mohan Bhagwat said that today was a new beginning of a new India.
