PM Modi’s Bengaluru roadshow got reschedule again; here’s the date

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Bengaluru roadshow has been rescheduled for the second time since a NEET examination is scheduled on May 7, and the roadshow could cause a traffic jam.

The BJP has now decided that a 26-kilometre roadshow will be postponed to May 6, and the remaining eight kilometres will be covered on May 7, which is scheduled to end at 11.30 a.m.

Tejasvi Surya, MP for Bengaluru South, stated that the Prime Minister had directed the BJP unit in Karnataka not to cause trouble to students taking the NEET exam.

“Regarding NEET exams on May 7, Hon. PM Sri @narendramodi Ji directed us to postpone the 26 km roadshow to May 6 and shorten the roadshow distance on the 7th to conclude it before 11.30 am,” Tejasvi tweeted. ‘I don’t want even one medical student in Bengaluru to be inconvenienced,’ he said flatly.

“I am proud to be a member of a political party that is so concerned with and responsible for our students.”

Originally, PM Modi’s Bengaluru roadshow is 36-kilometre tour was set for Saturday, and it is covered in such a way that PM Modi covers 17 constituencies in Bengaluru on a single day.

However, to avoid traffic jams, the roadshow was split into two days, Saturday and Sunday.

PM Modi’s roadshow in Karnataka’s capital will likely be a crucial component of the BJP’s campaign for the upcoming assembly elections as the ruling party seeks to retain power in the southern state.
