Police Charge Doctor Who Was Driving in Cyrus Mistry Car Crash

A Police Charge case has been file against co-passenger, also top Mumbai gynaecologist Dr Anahita Pandole. Who was reportedly driving the car at the period of the accident, 2 months after businessman Cyrus Mistry died in a car crash?

Cyrus Mistry, scion of the illustrious Shapoorji Pallonji Group, also former Chairman of Tata Sons. He has kill in a car accident in Palghar, Maharashtra, on September 5. Jahangir Pandora, the businessman’s friend, was also kill when the car slam into a road divider.

Anahita (55) and her husband Darius (60) were the other car occupants who were seriously injured.

Dr Anahita Pandole was driving Mr Mistry’s silver Mercedes, and the businessman was seat in the back when the accident occurred.

The Mumbai doctor has been charge with culpable homicide. Which is not the same as murder.

“Based on the reports and investigation, it was determine that the accident was the result of rash and negligent driving,” police said. Adding that a case was file against Dr Anahita Pandole. The police opened an investigation after recording Anahita’s husband, Darius Pandole, ‘s statement. Darius Pandole was release from a Mumbai hospital late last month after surviving the car crash.

“Darius Pandole stated in his statement that his wife Anahita was driving the Mercedes-Benz when they were on their way to Mumbai. A car ahead of them moved to the second lane from the third, and Anahita attempted to do the same. According to the news agency PTI, a police official said.
