Give Vijay One Year, Says Prakash Raj on Tamil Nadu Governance

Actor Prakash Raj has appealed for patience on the performance of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Joseph Vijay, saying the government deserves at least one year before it is judged. Speaking to reporters in Trichy, the veteran actor pointed out that the administration has completed only around 120 days in office, which he considers too short a period for any serious assessment.

Prakash Raj admitted he had several doubts about Vijay even before the election, but insisted that a newly formed government needs room to work. He said he would wait until the first budget before commenting at length on its performance. According to him, the focus should be on whether the trip brought investments worth several thousand crores, rather than on the optics of the encounter.
