On Wednesday, Priyanka Chopra and a few of her South Asian colleagues hosted a pre-Oscar event.
Priyanka Chopra donned her Indian avatar to host a pre-Oscar party in Beverly Hills honoring South Asian excellence in film. The actor wore a black saree with a strapless blouse for the occasion. Mindy Kaling, Kumail Nanjiani, Anjula Acharia, Bela Bajaria, Maneesh K. Goya, and Shruti Ganguly co-hosted the event.
One of Priyanka’s fan clubs shared a video of her posing for the paparazzi at the event. Fans were ecstatic to see Priyanka in a saree at the pre-Oscars event. “Wowww, my God, Amazing,” one fan said in response to the video. “Wow, a saree,” wrote another. “Price is beautiful.” “OMG!!” said another. She looks stunning in this saree!” “She looks beautiful, gorgeous, mommy,” one fan said.
According to the Hollywood news, the event was sponsored by UTA, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences, Johnnie Walker, the India Center’s South Asian Arts Resiliency Fund, also the Juggernaut. Riz Ahmed and Suroosh Alvi, Pawo Choyning Dorji, Joseph Patel, Aneil Karia, Elizabeth Mirzaei also Gulistan Mirzaei, and Rintu Thomas, Sushmit Ghosh, and Anurima Bhargava were among those expected to attend the bash.
Amy Schumer, Regina Hall, also Wanda Sykes will host this year’s Oscars. The ceremony will need place on March 27 at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.
In January, Priyanka gave birth to her f through surrogacy. She was most recently watch also in The Matrix Resurrections and worked on several projects.
Farhan Akhtar’s directorial debut, Jee Le Zaraa, will feature the actor. She also has several Hollywood projects in the works, including the web series Citadel, the romantic comedy Text For You, also the action film Ending Things.
