Qualcomm Announces Snapdragon 6 Generation 1 and Snapdragon 4 Generation 1 SoCs: Full Specifications
Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC-powered devices could be available in the first quarter of 2023.
On Wednesday, Qualcomm unveiled the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 and Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 SoCs. These chipsets are intended for the mid-tier and mass-volume markets. The Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 is built on a 4nm process and includes Kryo cores with up to 2.2GHz clock speeds. This chipset consists of the Qualcomm Spectra triple 12-bit ISP for image processing, which is capable of supporting gigapixel photo capture. On the 2nd hand, the Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 is built on a 6nm process and has eight Kryo cores with clock speeds of up to 2GHz.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC is construct on a 4nm process also has a 64-bit architecture. The chipset includes Kryo cores with up to 2.2GHz clock speeds also an Adreno GPU. It provides broad 5G connectivity as well as Sub-6 and mmWave support.
The Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC can support full-HD+ displays with a refresh rate of 120Hz. It includes the Qualcomm Spectra triple 12-bit ISP, which can handle up to 200 megapixels for single camera shots. Furthermore, it supports HDR gaming at more than 60 frames per second frame.
It includes the 7th Generation Qualcomm AI Engine also the 3rd Generation Qualcomm Sensing Hub for improved AI performance. These enhancements may benefit features such as AI-based activity tracking, audio enhancement, and background noise cancellation. The Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC supports the Wi-Fi 6E standard and Bluetooth v5.2 connectivity.
