Rahul Gandhi continued his attack on PM Modi’s
mishandling of India-China conflict, says PM Modi’s image is not a substitute
for a national vision.
On Thursday, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi tweeted a new video, wherein he continued to
attack the central government for “mishandling” the India-China
border dispute. Gandhi,
in the video, suggested that India needs to adopt a global vision to deal with
China’s aggression. Rahul Gandhi also accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of focusing on building his image.
Rahul Gandhi says the national
vision is superior to one man’s image building:
Posting the two-minute video,
Gandhi wrote that one man’s image cannot substitute a national vision and
criticized PM Modi’s handling of the issue with the Chinese. In the video,
Rahul said,” Psychologically, you have to deal with the Chinese from a position
of strength. If you deal with them from a position of strength, you can get
what you need. But if they sense weakness, then you had it. India has to have a
global vision. The thing is going to protect India is thinking big, we have to
change the way we think.”
We’re fighting amongst each
other because of politics – Rahul Gandhi:
The Wayanad MP further said,” I am aggravated because I can see that a huge opportunity is being lost. Why? Because we are not thinking long-term, we are not thinking big and we are distributing our internal balance. We are fighting amongst each other… just because of politics.”
PM Modi lacks a clear vision
for India, critiques Rahul Gandhi:
The former Congress President
criticized PM Modi for lacking a clear vision and stated,” I know
the PM is an opponent. My responsibility is to ask questions and put pressure
on him so that he does his work. His responsibility is to give the vision. I
guarantee it’s not there and that’s why China is there today.”
