Ram Setu Box Office Day 2: The Gap Between This and Ajay Devgn’s Thank God Is Closing!

Day 2 of the Ram Setu Box Office (Early Trends): The Diwali season is suppos to bring joy, light, and prosperity into people’s hearts and lives. Thank God and Har Har Mahadev were two other notable options at the ticket booths. But, while Akshay Kumar’s film undoubtedly led the pack, did it live up to expectations? As most people know, Akshay Kumar’s film is competing at the box office with another Bollywood blockbuster – Thank God. The film, directed by Ajay Devgn, is a fantasy comedy with an ensemble cast that includes Sidharth Malhotra, Nora Fatehi, and Rakul Preet Singh, among others. Despite the massive star pull, Akki, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Nushratt Bharuccha appear to be the audience’s first choice.

According to the occupancy trends, Ram Setu was ahead of Thank God.

Not that the film was doing well or receiving a tremendous response, but word of mouth was expect to spread and audiences to flood the theatres by the end of the day. Of course, by the evening, the trends had improved slightly.

According to the trends, Ram Setu earned around 10-12 crore on Day 2 after earning 15.25 crore on Day 1. This brings the total amount collected to 15.25-17.25 crores. The film was the audience’s first choice, as its competitor, Thank God remained in the range of 6-8 crores. However, the disparity between the two film collections is narrowing.

Following the box office failures of most Akshay Kumar films in recent years, including Bachchan Pandey, Samrat Prithviraj, Cuttputli, and Raksha Bandhan, this action-adventure must perform well. Otherwise, the leading man may reconsider his film choices, as Shah Rukh Khan did following the highly disappointing verdict of Zero.
