Ranbir Kapoor Vickey Kaushal movies coming on same date

Animal, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga and starring Ranbir Kapoor, has been pushed back from August 11 to December 1.

The picture avoided a collision with 2 films in the process, but the release date isn’t a free slot either.

Two other major pictures are also scheduled to be released on December 1, creating yet another three-film box office clash.

Anil Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, and Bobby Deol also star in Animal. The movie will be released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam, among other languages.

This will be Ranbir’s first project with Sandeep, the director of Arjun Reddy and Kabir Singh.

The Animal was supposed to be released on August 11, competing with Gadar 2, the sequel to Anil Sharma’s 2001 blockbuster.

Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel will reprise their legendary roles of Tara Singh and Sakina in Gadar 2, which is also directed by Anil.

Anil’s son Utkarsh Sharma also appears in the cross-border action film.

Not Just Ranbir Kapoor; other moves date clash:

The second picture, which will still be released on August 11, as confirmed by the producers on Monday, is yet another sequel. OMG 2 is a dramedy sequel to Umesh Shukla’s 2012 hit OMG – Oh My God.

The film is directed by Amit Rai and co-produced by Akshay Kumar, who will be starring in it. It stars Pankaj Tripathi and Yami Gautam.

The Animal will now face up against two heavyweights on December 1. Sam Bahadur, a biopic of Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw starring Vicky Kaushal and directed by Meghna Gulzar, is set to be released on December 1. Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Shaikh also appear in the flick.

Fukrey 3, the third part in the popular Fukrey franchise, will also be released on the same day. The buddy comedy, produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani’s Excel Entertainment and directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba, will recast Richa Chadha, Pankaj Tripathi, Pulkit Samrat, and Varun Sharma, among others.
