Ravindra Jadeja made a perfect and remarkable comeback in today’s match.

Today, spinner Ravindra Jadeja took the eleventh five wickets during the first match between India vs Australia on Day 1 in Nagpur, as Border–Gavaskar Trophy began today.

Ravindra Jadeja the Comeback King:

After taking a long break from cricket due to an injury, he made a great comeback today, as he shook the middle order of Australia. In 22 overs, he took five wickets by just giving 47 runs.

The comeback man has broken the long-running partnership between Steve Smith and Marnus Labuschagne. Then Jadeja showed the way to the pavilion to Matt Renshaw, Todd Murphy and Peter Handscomb.

Australia was bowled out in 63.5 overs in the final session of the day.  

Jadeja’s five wickets helped India wash out the Aussies at 177 after the tea break.

The other off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin was also the star of today’s match as he took 3 wickets by giving 42 runs. Overall it was spinner’s day, we can say. Ashwin is now the 2nd-highest wicket-taker in the history of Indian cricket.

Mohammed Shami and Mohammed Siraj, the two pacers, had completely entertained the audience at the start as both the bowlers took 1 wicket.

Sending back to Usman Khwaja and David Warner at the start, KS Bharath and Suryakumar Yadav made their first test debut in today’s match. Let’s see what the Indian batting order can do; let us know in the comment section.
