Former Delhi deputy chief minister and senior Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Manish Sisodia has penned another letter from Tihar jail in which he emphasises the transforming potential of education and discusses the need to elevate the impoverished parts of society.

The AAP shared the letter on Twitter convenor and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, who highlighted significant aspects of the letter.

“His words highlight the urgent need to provide equal opportunities and access to education for all children, regardless of socioeconomic background,” he said.

Kejriwal went on to say that Sisodia’s letter illustrates the importance of education and the repercussions of ignoring it.

The AAP leader expressed concern about limiting education to the poor, which reflects inequality and contributes to the cycle of hatred and violence.

“Who will spread the storm of hatred if every poor person gets a book?” “Who will wield swords on the streets if everyone has work?” he wondered.

In his letter, he also discussed how proper education might ensure that ‘WhatsApp University’ is shut down and that no one is trapped in the ‘illusion of hatred’.

“If everyone gets a good education and enough time, their WhatsApp University will close down.” “How will anyone be trapped in the illusion of hatred if society is built on education and wisdom?” he wondered.

Manish Sisodia is now being held in Tihar Jail concerning the Delhi liquor policy fraud, and the Delhi High Court is hearing his bail case.
