Mrunal Thakur expressed her thoughts on lust and sex, saying, “I strongly believe that having matured conversations about sex and lust is critical, especially when young and growing up.”
When one is a young adult, they have a role model who instils the necessary knowledge and information in them.”
“If all young and impressionable minds, including children within families, have at least one person with whom they can have honest discussions about these topics, they will be less likely to seek a plethora of misinformation from the outside world,” she added.
In the film, Mrunal plays a soon-to-be-married woman confronted by her grandmother about her apparent “lust quotient” with her prospective partner (Angad Bedi).

Lust Stories delves into the concepts of modern-day relationships and the varied degrees of complexities that come with them.
Lust Stories 2 is a collection of four stories directed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma, Konkona Sen Sharma, R Balki, and Sujoy Ghosh.
The cast includes Kajol, Vijay Varma, Tamannaah Bhatia, Tillotama Shome, Amruta Subhash, Neena Gupta, and Kumud Mishra.
Mrunal will be seen onscreen alongside Vijay Deverakonda in the coming months. The yet-to-be-titled film is directed by Parasuram Petla and produced by Sri Venkateswara Creations.
She also has a significant project with Nani. The pair recently finished filming the project. Speaking on the film, Mrunal previously stated, “I’m sure elated and excited to be a part of this project.”
