Shah Rukh Khan’s doppelganger Ibrahim Qadri discussed his resemblance to the actor. He also praised Shah Rukh, describing him as “charming, kind, and generous.”
Ibrahim Qadri, a Shah Rukh Khan lookalike, has spoken about his ‘uncanny resemblance to the actor.
In an interview with Humans of Bombay, Ibrahim recalled several incidents where he was mobbed for photographs, had his T-shirt ripped, and was rescued by the police. He also stated that, while he felt “special,” he “realized what SRK probably goes through daily.” Ibrahim lavished praise on Shah Rukh, calling him “charming, kind, and big-hearted.”
“I was never one who give too much attention to my looks,” he said in an Instagram post
. However, my family and friends frequently commented on my appearance, saying, ‘You look like Shahrukh Khan!’ My parents were especially pleased to have given birth to a child who bore an uncanny resemblance to India’s superstar. I couldn’t help but notice the attention, and when puberty hit, I started looking precisely like SRK! After my friends and I saw Raees, everyone started mobbing me for selfies, thinking the real SRK had create an appearance for the film’s premiere!”
He also stated, “Then there was the time I went to watch KKR play Gujarat Lions in the stadium, and everyone took out their cameras and waved at me. People applauded and quoted SRK’s famous movie lines at me. I saw how much people adored SRK, and for the first time, I felt like a Badshah; it was unforgettable! But I quickly realized what SRK probably goes through daily when I was swamped. And someone held onto me so tightly that my t-shirt tore! It became so bad that I had to call the cops to be safely removed from the stadium. Following my rescue, the cops inquired, ‘SRK sir, Ek (one) selfie?'”
