The Big Dog decimates new Universal Champion Bray
Wyatt and Braun Strowman to send a clear message of wanting the blue-gold title.
At SummerSlam 2020 Roman Reigns mounted a shock WWE return, apparently turning
heel simultaneously. ‘The Big Dog’s’ enormous return went down
after ‘The Fiend’ Bray Wyatt had crushed Universal Champion Braun Strowman
in the night’s headliner. Reigns branded “wreck everything and leave,”
in his black t-shirt, and that is actually what Reigns did, first decimating
Wyatt in the ring before battering Braun outside, splitting a steel-chair over
his back a few times. Back inside and the beatdown on Bray proceeded. Reigns
followed Wyatt, letting him ascend to his feet before nailing a Spear, telling
the new Universal Champion that the belt’s rightful owner was him. The
pay-per-view went off air with the image of Roman Reigns posing with the strap
held high.
Roman Reigns returns after staying
home during the upsurge of Coronavirus in the US:
Since the run-up to WrestleMania 36 where he was slated to face Goldberg, this was the first time Roman had showed up on WWE programming. Roman was booked off TV as he chose to stay home with his family at the beginning of the global pandemic. Besides, it felt particularly like Reigns has at long last turned heel in WWE in the wake of thrashing Strowman and Wyatt with such force. This is not guaranteed, as, in the past, WWE has previously done similar things with him; however, a heel turn is something numerous fans have been anticipating for a long time.
McIntyre pins Randy Ortan; Seth
Rollins overcomes a confident Dominick Mysterio:
SummerSlam 2020 as a whole
event was a hit and gave the fans some good matches and incredible storylines. Drew McIntyre pinned the legend killer 2.0, Randy Orton, in
a match that didn’t witness a finishing move by any of the competitors. Asuka
re-gained her Raw Women’s Championship from Sasha Banks and lost her match for
the Smackdown Women’s Championship with Bayley. Monday Night Messiah, Seth
Rollins defeated Rey Mysterio’s son, Dominick
Mysterio in a good
old story-telling encounter. Dominick looked good despite the loss. Mandy Rose
kneed Sony Deville out of the WWE, with the United States Champion and Raw Tag
Team Champions retaining their gold.
