Bayern Munich’s teamwork and hunger for success
catapulted in them winning the UEFA Champions League for a sixth time, after
vanquishing Paris Saint Germain.
After beating first-time
finalists Paris Saint-Germain 1-0 out of a fan-less final at the Estadio da
Luz, Lisbon on Sunday, German club, Bayern Munich won the UEFA Champions
League for the
sixth time. It was the player hailing from Paris, Kingsley
Coman, who scored the
sole goal of the match as the Bavarians won the prestigious league after seven
years.

After a feisty first half including shots of the woodwork for Robert Lewandowski and Manuel Neuer’s two fantastic saves against Neymar and Kylian Mbappe, Coman scored the goal when he headed home a cross from Joshua Kimmich in the 59th minute. PSG substitute Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting botched two late chances to level for the French side, who are as yet holding back to win their first Champions League title after billions of euros of the venture from the Qatar regal family. With this success, Bayern Munich becomes the first side in European Cup/Champions League history to win 100 percent of their games in a single season on the way to lifting the trophy (11 successes).
