Former India captain MS Dhoni has reportedly opened talks with Chennai Super Kings over buying an ownership stake in the franchise, a move that has stirred fresh conversation among fans ahead of IPL 2027. The report added that Dhoni later reduced his request to an 18 per cent stake, but CSK’s owners are reportedly unwilling to part with more than 5.5 per cent.
