On Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched its latest instalment of PM-Kisan, the farmers’ direct money transfer scheme worth Rs18,000 crore through 9 crore farmers’ bank accounts. 

The initiative comes in the midst of ongoing demonstrations by farmers towards the three laws approved by Parliament to overhaul the farm sector during September.

The first instalment of PM-KISAN:

Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s government has taken the initiative to ensure that farmers get loans at lower interest rates. Today is his birthday as well as by releasing an instalment of the PM-KISAN system, we have labelled the day. These government initiatives should assist farmers in conducting crop diversification; PM Modi added while communicating with an Odisha beneficiary of the scheme.

As PM Tweeted: 

The PM had tweeted on Thursday that after launching the next instalment of PM-Kisan, he was going to connect with farmers, as well as said that the day is really important for the ‘annadatas’ of the region. For Annadatas, tomorrow (Friday) is a very necessary day for the nation.

 Via video conferencing at 12 pm, the next instalment of PM-Kisan will be released for fewer than 9 crores farming families. On this occasion, they will also communicate with farmers from several states,’ the PM posted.

 

 Letter sent by Arun Singh BJP General Secretary: 

Arun Singh, General Secretary of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), sent a letter to party officials and described a series of measures to ensuring that the speech of the prime minister is widely perceived.

 In much more than 19,000 venues throughout the country, the party made preparations for the participation of farmers.

The Party leaders attended the event: 

The senior party leaders who attended the event included Union Minister of Union Minister Smriti Irani, Agriculture Narendra Singh Tomar, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath as well as State Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya. 

All political party MPs, MLAs as well as other leaders, were instructed by BJP chief JP Nadda to tune into the program. In 2019, the PM launched the first instalment of the PM-Kisan system.
