For starters, the scarcity of good ‘premium’ Android smartwatches has created a gap that only Samsung is willing to fill. And, based on my testing, it has an incredible multi-day battery life that just keeps going. Of course, not everything is executed flawlessly, and during my two weeks of use. I’ve noticed a few flaws that may annoy some potential buyers.

Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 Pro Design: The use of premium materials sets it apart.

Samsung chose titanium for the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro this time. Not only does it feel solid, but it also gives you a feeling on your wrist that only truly premium timepieces can. The home and back buttons are very tactile and feel like they are made to last. But the rotating dial of old has been replaced by a fixed outer bezel surrounded by titanium housing on the outside. Sure, there’s haptic feedback to simulate a click, but I found using the digital bezel to be inconvenient.

However, when it arrives to design, there are 2 things I dislike: the Watch’s sheer thickness and the band.

Even on my rather large wrists, it appears quite large. But the thickness and 45mm size are primarily due to the massive 590 mAh battery that powers the Watch.

Don’t get me wrong about the band. The titanium magnetic bottom assembles contact with the device also makes an disagreeable shouting sound, not to mention the physical damage over time. I much prefer the standard band that comes with the less expensive but equally capable Galaxy Watch 5.
