Film producer Rahul Mittra, who has collaborated with Sanjay Dutt twice, provided the star, who has recently undergone cancer treatment, with such a health report.

During an interview, the producer said that now the actor is ‘cancer-free’ as per the new MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) and PET (positron emission tomography) scans by Sanjay.

The very first time I spoke to him after it was reported that he would have the Big C, he said The Times of India, “I still can’t forget. I broke down over the phone as well as told him to assure me that he’d come out of it.” And he vowed.
He told me I was supposed to take care of myself because friends had to be solid. It was so soothing. Sanju is a stone. He’d been able to overcome cancer. Hats off to his will-power.’

In October Sanjay declared that he is cancer-free:
He declared in October that he’d been cured. Sanjay wrote that his family had been troublesome for the last couple of months, but he was eventually cured of the illness. The last couple of weeks have been a rough time for my family and me.
But, as they claim, God gives his best warriors the toughest fights. And today, on the birthday of my children, I am glad to come out of this war victorious and also be able to bring them the greatest gift I can—the health and well-being of our family,’ he writes in his note.
Sanjay was last seen in the Rahul-produced Netflix launch Torbaaz and had been shooting for KGF Chapter 2 and Shamshera.
