Maheep Kapoor revealed on the latest season of Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives that her husband, Sanjay Kapoor, cheated on her in the past days of their marriage. On the show, she was discussing him with Seema Sajdeh when she mentioned the incident. Sanjay and Maheep have been married for 25 years. They have a son named Jahaan and a daughter named Shanaya.

“Now you understand, Seema.” Initially, there was an indiscretion on Sanjay’s part or something. I exited with Shanaya. I stood up for myself, but I had a newborn baby. Again, as a woman and a mother, my child comes first. I owed my daughter this wonderful father, who he is. It was something I owed myself. And if I had broken this s**t up, I would have regretted it for the rest of my life. Because when my kids and husband walk into my house, this is their sanctuary. They require tranquillity. And I believe Sanjay also gives it to me,” Maheep said.

“I wanted my marriage to work,” she confessed to the camera at all costs.
