The actor’s net worth now stands at Rs 10,000 crore, down from Rs 12,490 crore recorded in the 2025 edition of the list. His earnings span film salaries, brand endorsements, and business ventures including Red Chillies Entertainment and the Knight Riders Sports franchise.

Still India’s Wealthiest Actor

Despite the sharp decline, Khan continues to top the chart of India’s richest film stars. Amitabh Bachchan follows in second place with a net worth of Rs 4,000 crore, while Salman Khan ranks third at Rs 3,000 crore. Hrithik Roshan rounds out the top four with a reported net worth of Rs 2,500 crore.

King Marks a Long-Awaited Comeback

The dip in fortune comes as Khan prepares for his return to the big screen with the action-thriller King, directed by Siddharth Anand. It will be his first release since 2023’s Dunki, ending a three-year gap from theatres. The film also stars Deepika Padukone, Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan, and Abhay Verma, with Abhishek Bachchan reportedly cast as the antagonist.

Khan recently addressed fan concerns during an ‘Ask Me Anything’ session on X, confirming that King remains on track for its scheduled release and will not be postponed. He assured followers the film is being crafted carefully and will arrive in cinemas before December 24, 2026, as planned.
