Filmmaker Pan Nalin’s recently released movie ‘Chhello Show’ has made India proud overseas. The movie is creating hype at every corner of the entertainment line as the film is India’s official access to the list of Oscars 2023.

Siddharth opens up on whom he supports at the Oscars: 

As the movie leaves no stone unturned, the viewers are hoping the ‘Chhello Show’ will win great at the Academy awards. Siddharth Roy Kapur, Pan Nalin, and Dheer Momaya make it. 

In an interview with a media outlet, filmmaker Siddharth said that ‘Chhello Show’s access to the Oscars competes with SS Rajamouli’s ‘RRR’ and numerous others; however, he even said that he is also embedding for RRR’s success in multiple categories at the Academy awards.

When questioned if there’s a contest between ‘Chhello Show’ and ‘RRR’ at the Oscars, Siddharth refused it. He said that the filmmakers are in the Best International Feature Film category, and they have sent in their nominations for other prevalent types. 

He is embedding for them as well. Siddharth even hopes that ‘RRR’ is selected and then goes on to succeed in multiple categories. Sid feels It will be a significant moment for India and an outstanding achievement for South Asia.

Chhello Show’s cast’s reaction after their entry at the Oscars: 

He further said that the whole ‘Chhello Show’ crew was delighted when the movie was announced as an official entry to the Oscars. 

They were ecstatic, honoured, humbled and thrilled as this is the only 4th time in Indian theatre history that the Academy has shortlisted a movie. For the whole team, it was a moment of joy.

‘Chhello Show’ was launched by Samuel Goldwyn Films in the US and by Roy Kapur Films in India. Orange Studios will drop the movie in France, while Shochiku Studios and Medusa will launch it in Japanese and Italian theatres.
