Siddharth Shukla’s postmortem was done at Cooper Hospital

Siddharth Shukla, 40, died of a heart attack on September 2.

 The actor was pronounced dead by Cooper Hospital at 10.30 am on September 2. 

Doctors at the hospital declared Death Before Arrival. 

Siddharth’s postmortem was then started at 3.30 pm and was completed by 8.30 pm. Siddharth’s funeral was held on September 3 at Oshiwara Cemetery around 2.30 pm. Shehnaz Gill was also present at the funeral service. He also performed the final worship.

Cooper Hospital handed over Siddharth’s body to the family around one o’clock. Siddharth Shukla’s body was taken from Cooper Hospital to Oshiwara Cemetery. Here 4 people associated with Brahmakumari were cremated according to their customs. It may be mentioned that the funeral of ‘Balika Vadhu’ fame Pratyusha Banerjee was held in the same cemetery.

Cooper Hospital submitted Siddharth Shukla’s postmortem report to Mumbai Police this morning (September 3). The postmortem report has the signatures of 5 doctors. 3 expert doctors from Cooper Hospital performed Siddharth’s postmortem, and he did not state the cause of death in his final report. According to sources, the report did not show any signs of external injuries on Siddharth’s body. Mumbai Police will conclude only after a forensic report and chemical analysis. According to sources, the viscera sample will be sent to Kali’s forensic lab. This report will be available in the next 20-25 days. That means the exact cause of death will now be known only from the viscera report.

What was Siddharth’s routine before his death?

One day before his death, Siddharth Shukla’s movement was different from other days. He was having dinner with his mother at his home. He didn’t have dinner on Wednesday night. 

Just drank buttermilk and ate some fruits. This was followed by three hours of TV and mobile phone shows. Finally, at half-past one in the night, he asked his mother for water and then went to bed. At 7 in the morning, mother Rita saw that Siddharth was fast asleep. Shortly afterwards, she panicked, and her mother called a doctor.
