Union minister Smriti Irani on Thursday instructed Parliament that the ministry of ladies and baby development has obtained 391 lawsuits registered via SHe-Box, the Centre’s portal for the registration of proceedings approximately sexual harassment at offices, from the critical ministries. She stated an evaluation of the cases confirmed best, in reality, pertained to sexual harassment.

The regulation was enacted in 2013 to shield women from sexual harassment at places of work and for prevention and redressal of court cases no matter age, employment popularity, and nature of work.
