Stranger Things sensation Noah Schnapp reveals that he is GAY

Noah Schnapp quickly grew to stardom by essaying the role of Will in Stranger Things. He became one of the endearing characters on the show, particularly with the debut of Season 4, where the fans had nothing but praise for him.

In a recent short TikTok clip shared by Noah Schnapp, he revealed his truth by lip-syncing to the viral audio video. In the video, Noah penned that after being in the closet for around eighteen years, when he eventually told his friends and family, they all replied with what they already knew. 

He also noted in the caption that there appear to be more beautiful similarities with his Stranger Things Will Byers role than he knew. 

Playing a closeted gay role on screen

During the earlier parts of Stranger Things, Will’s sexuality was frequently questioned by the viewers. However, the actors and show deflected this question. Schnapp said that Will was just complicated growing up, and that’s what it is to be a child. 

This is why anyone shouldn’t be too quick to label things. Noah even mentioned that Will’s role took time to unload because these things are increasingly complex in real life.

Yet, in an interview over the summer, Noah assured that Will is indeed gay and struggling with himself. He says that the show’s makers have made it more evident and real as Will has gotten older. 

Now it is one hundred per cent evident that Will is gay and in love with one of his best friends, Mike. The filmmakers also designed it creatively so that the role did not suddenly turn gay.
