Student Alleges Aditya Narayan of Unprovoked Aggression at Concert

A recent concert featuring Aditya Narayan has sparked controversy after a student accused the singer of aggressive behavior, alleging that Narayan hit his hand with a microphone and threw his phone away for no apparent reason.

Contradicting Claims

In an interview with Times Now Digital, Lovkesh Chandravanshi, the student involved, disputed allegations that he had hit Narayan’s foot, asserting instead that Narayan struck his hand with the microphone. Chandravanshi recounted the incident, stating that he had approached the stage to take a selfie with Narayan, as the singer had been obliging others with selfies. However, Narayan purportedly hit his hand with the microphone and then threw his phone away.

Unwillingness to Pursue Legal Action

Despite the incident, Chandravanshi expressed reluctance to file a police complaint, citing discomfort and fear. He maintained that his intention was not to escalate the situation but to share his account of the events.

Conflicting Statements

Earlier, an event manager, speaking to Zoom, claimed that Chandravanshi had been “constantly dragging Aditya’s feet,” which purportedly irritated Narayan. In response, Narayan offered no comment, stating, “Honestly, no comments. I am answerable to the Almighty. That’s all.”

Viral Video Sparks Debate

A video capturing the moment when Narayan snatched a fan’s phone and threw it into the crowd quickly went viral, prompting widespread criticism of the singer’s conduct during the live performance. The incident has raised questions about appropriate behavior and professionalism at public events.
