Suniel Shetty gets emotional while visiting to watch Tadap movie
Suniel Shetty became emotional on the first day of filming for Tadap, according to director Milan Luthria. The director recalled how the actor speak him a story about his father, Veerapa Shetty, who “start his life in a small canteen” in the same cinema where Tadap was shot.
Suniel Shetty’s son, Ahan Shetty, makes his Bollywood debut in Tadap. Suniel became emotional when Milan Luthria revealed that the location was South Mumbai’s Central Plaza. Milan told in an interview with a tabloid that Ahan’s character owns Mussoorie cinema.
Which the Tadap team wanted to replicate in Mumbai.
According to Milan, Suniel and his wife (Mana Shetty) came to wish them on the first day they were shooting there. And he (Suniel) was overcome with emotion. He took him aside also told him that his father (Veerapa Shetty) had started his career in the same cinema’s small canteen. And he said he didn’t know if it was fate or what, but his father was watching from above. He recalled visiting the location as a child to assist his father and have lunch with him.
Tadap is a remake of the Telugu romantic-action drama RX 100, which premiered in 2018. Sajid Nadiadwala, who worked with Suniel Shetty on the 1993 romantic action comedy Waqt Hamara Hai, produced the film.
Ahaan Shetty and Tara Sutaria discussed the film in an interview with Bollywood Hungama. For the film, Ahaan also discussed his experiences gaining and losing weight during and after the pandemic. Tadap movie will be release in theatres on December 3.
