Surendranagar’s Prithvish won Silver Medal in Taekwondo Championship.

Key Points:

• Zalawad Surendranagar’s kid Prithvish is making a name at the state level by winning Silver in Taekwondo Championship held in Manali.
• In this competition, more than 370 competitors were there from 15 states of India.

Proud moment for Zalawadi people as their kid winning a Silver medal at the state level. Sports in India is improving, and the proof is this kind of competition happening in different states. It helps parents to prepare their kids to compete at every level from a tender age. 

Taekwondo is not a popular game in India, a form of Martial arts that is very popular outside India. So looking for the opportunity for kids around in India, a competition was held in Manali.

In this competition, many kids participated and showcased their performance. In addition, the national level Himalaya Ice Cup Open National Taekwondo Championship was held at Manali in Himachal Pradesh. 

Out of 8 contestants from Gujarat, Prithvish won silver which made his parents, who are teachers, proud. 

His parents Kanchanben and Bharatbhai Ambalia, and his coach Sanjaybhai are feeling proud due to his achievements. But, unfortunately, Prithvish lost in the final by one point against a student from Punjab. 

Mother of Prithvish was a Judo State Level Champion:  Mother Kanchanben became a Judo State Level Champion in Rajkot in 1990 when she was in Std. 

Prithvish started from Std. 2, and now he is studying in Std. 7 and getting training in Taekwondo in DLS S of Sports Authority of Gujarat.
