Rhea admits to the police that Sushant was refusing
to take his medications; 2 more people interrogated by the police.
After the sad demise of Sushant
Singh Rajput on
June 14 due to suicide, Mumbai Police has started to investigate the reason behind
the talented actor’s reason for taking his own life. On Thursday, Bandra Police
summoned the late actor’s close friend (rumoured girlfriend) and actress, Rhea
Chakraborty, to
interrogate on the matter. The Police interrogation went on for over 9 hours.
Rhea was reportedly asked about their relationship and the alleged breakup
which was doing the media rounds prior to Sushant’s passing. Rhea was also quizzed
about Sushant’s alleged clinical depression, his film projects, and the mental
state before his demise.

The actress Rhea Chakraborty was seen arriving and leaving the police station in Bandra with her father. Rhea revealed very useful information to the police as she confirmed that the 34-year-old actor was indeed suffering from clinical depression and also provided proof of him undergoing treatment for the same. Rhea further said that Sushant used to have extremely low and upsetting days and started meditation and yoga. Rhea disclosed to the police that Sushant after a point of time refused to take medication despite her best efforts to let him take it.
Rhea Chakraborty said that she
and Sushant were gearing up to star together in a film directed by Rumi
Jaffrey, but the Coronavirus
lockdown delayed
it. She revealed that till next year December, Sushant’s calendar would have
been full of projects which were almost finalized.
Shruti Modi, Shushant’s
business manager, and Radhika Nihalani, part of his PR team were also
interrogated by the Police.
Police have now questioned
about 13-14 people and will continue to summon close friends, associates, and
people he recently worked with.
