Due to the various businesses being pitched on the show and the investments they are receiving, Shark Tank India season 2 has been making headlines. Even though everyone is praising this, a recent post by shark Namita Thapar has everyone’s attention.
The businesswoman claims that her house helper stole her phone and posted a hateful message to her Instagram story.
The now-deleted story claimed to have been written by one of her 2 sons, Jai or Veeru. It criticised the shark and urged her followers to stop following her.
Now that Namita has taken to Twitter to explain what happened, internet users aren’t ok what she was saying.
Shark Tank India’s Namita Thapar commented on the offensive Instagram post that has since been deleted from her Twitter account. “This is what hate does to this world; it makes people toxic,” she tweeted.
My phone was stolen, and a fired, educated housekeeper posted a derogatory message about me on social media. The cost of being well-known! I apologise!
One user commented on Namita Thapar’s tweet and criticised her for placing the blame on the housekeeper, writing, “Nice!! Pass the buck to a poor house helper. It is difficult to accept that your son has spoken the truth.
Another person wrote on the Shark Tank India judges’ post, “In today’s world… where a husband doesn’t know about wife’s mobile (Yours is an iPhone)..! How would a housekeeper know that? You are worried about a crummy Twitter post, but not that your bank information is associated with this number, lol!
In response to Namita Thapar’s tweet, someone else wrote, “Educated household?? Ameer karte honge Another said, “Was removed, but also got access to your phone,” adding, “? Someone who knows your Pswd and other codes must be a close confidante.
A fifth person commented, “If a person is educated, chances are she’ll not be a house help unless she’s desperate.” Namita, the queen of sugarcoating, lacks my trust.
One person said, “You should have been out and then let your social media manager come up with a stronger excuse since making stories is not your expertise,” without going into further detail.
Here’s the now-deleted Instagram post. “This is Namita’s son,” the story began. I just want the rest of the world to know that the person you see on television is not who you think she is. Remove her as soon as possible. “I’ll explain why in due course.”
