The makers of Adipurush have set a new release date
The film starring Prabhas and Saif Ali Khan will be released in June 2023.
Adipurush director Om Raut issues an official statement stating that the film’s release date has been pushed back in order to provide audiences with a better viewing experience.
The makers recently released a trailer for Adipurush, which stars Prabhas, Saif Ali Khan, and Kriti Sanon. The film is a period drama based on the Ramayana that retells a portion of the epic saga. While the film was suppose to clash with several South films schedule in and around Sankranti 2023 in January. The producers have pushed the release date back.
The director revealed in an official statement released by Om Raut in collaboration with the producers T-Series. That they have decided to push the release date in order to provide a better view experience for the audiences. “Adipurush is not a movie, but a representation of our devotion to Prabhu Shri Ram also commitment to our Sanskrit and history,” the statement said.
We need to give the teams working on the film more time in order to provide a complete visual experience to the viewers. Adipurush is now schedule to be release on June 16, 2023. Adipurush, on the other hand, is a pan-India film with extensive VFX that retells the epic battle of Ramayana. In this Om Raut directorial, Prabhas plays Ram, Kriti Sanon plays Seeta, and Saif Ali Khan plays Lankeshwar aka Raavan. The film’s teaser was release to much fanfare in Ayodhya, which is believe to be Ram’s birthplace. On June 16, 2023, the film will be release in multiple languages.
