The teaser of Captain Miller has been released today, and Dhanush in Captain Miller seems to be a perfect role for him.
To mark the 40th birthday of Dhanush on July 28, the teaser for his upcoming film Captain Miller was released.
The makers of the historical action thriller, helmed by Arun Matheswaran of Saani Kaayidham fame, released the trailer early on Friday, and it is plenty of drama as it follows Dhanush’s Captain Miller, also known as (aka) Eesa and Analeesan.
Dhanush in Captain Miller Teaser:
In the teaser, the actor wears a fierce style with a long beard and long hair, and he completes the outfit with a black thread-like necklace around his neck. In the teaser, Dhanush always carries some type of weapon, usually a large rifle.
There’s also a terrible sequence where Dhanush goes for the murder with an axe. Dhanush is said to be playing two roles in the film: a father and a son.
The teaser begins with the British looking for ‘wanted dacoit’ Captain Miller, aka Eesa, aka Analeesan. After several intense fight scenes and vehicle explosions, a wanted poster with a hefty reward for locating Captain Miller arrives.
Arun Matheswaran is the writer and director of the movie, produced by Sendhil Thyagarajan and Arjun Thyagarajan. GV Prakash composed the music, and Vivek, Arunraja Kamaraj, Umadevi, and Kaber Vasuki wrote the words.
The film is scheduled to be released in December 2023. Aside from Dhanush, the film stars Mark Bennington, Nassar, Shivarajkumar, Priyanka Arulmohan, and several other actors.
Arun Matheswaran about the movie:
Arun said that Dhanush would appear in three different roles in Captain Miller. Throughout an earlier article, the filmmaker informed The Times of India, “Dhanush will have three getups in the film, and the first poster depicts one of these looks.”
Others will be issued in the future as part of ongoing promotions. Over 85 per cent of the film has been shot, and we’ve even finished scenes with Kannada actor Shiva Rajkumar. The film is set in the 1930s, during the pre-independence period.”
