According to The Verge, citing an interview with Hope Liu, Chief Designer at OnePlus, the OnePlus 10T will skip the alert slider to make internal space for other components needed for “high wattage charging, a large battery, and better antenna signal.” According to Liu, the alert slider may appear to be a minor component, but it significantly impacts the motherboard. According to previous reports, the handset will most likely do without the iconic alert slider.

The company also provided the publication with images of the OnePlus 10T, revealing its design from nearly every angle.

It reveals a square camera module with three rear cameras, a volume rocker on the left panel, and a power button on the right. OnePlus recently confirmed the smartphone’s camera specifications. The OnePlus 10T will have three rear cameras, including a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 primary sensor. It will also get the new image clarity engine from the company. As a result, the company claims that it captures photos faster and with greater detail.

The OnePlus 10T’s Amazon landing page went live recently, revealing that the smartphone will be available for pre-order on the e-commerce website beginning August 3. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC is also confirm to power the device.
