The six RMs were developed in slighter than a year by the (National Dope Testing Laboratory) NDTL in collusion with the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education also Research (NIPER)-Guwahati and the CSIR-Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine (IIIM). With the story of these RMs, NDTL has earned the distinction of being one of the few labs in the global to have developed such RMs.
“These Reference Materials are not widely available worldwide but are require by every WADA-accredited laboratory for anti-doping analysis. Three of the six Reference Materials were the story in collaboration with NIPER-Guwahati and CSIR-IIIM, Jammu. Scientists from NDTL and NIPER-Guwahati also succeeded in synthesizing two indigenously developed rare Reference Materials in 2021. Which were launch and share with other WADA-Accredited Laboratories.
