Rajubhai Doshi said that there is not enough drinking water or food here. Therefore, our government is requested to be rescued by the military.

12 to 14 people live in one room: Businessman’s brother

Rajkot’s businessman Rajubhai’s brother Mukeshbhai, who lives in Rajkot, said, “We talked this morning. The atmosphere is very good.” It is forecasted till Wednesday, and vehicle transactions are also stalled. 12 to 14 people live in a room. There is an appeal that if the weather improves, it will come by tomorrow morning, and the government will move to a safer place.

Pilgrims from Rajkot who are currently

staying with Rajubhai in a safe place has uploaded videos of the dire situation on their mobile phones and made it viral on social media.

 Along with the businessman’s family, the professor’s family from Rajkot is also trapped in Kedarnath. However, at present, all the people are in a safe place. The women request that the government make arrangements as soon as possible to get out of this predicament.

 Rajkot Collector Arun Mahesh Babu has also telephoned the pilgrims in Rajkot in this regard. In addition, he had a telephone conversation with Professor Yashwant Goswami, in which it was learned that all the pilgrims from Rajkot were in a safe place.

Our members are trapped in Kedarnath: Businessman.

Rajubhai Doshi further said that our other members are trapped upstairs in Kedarnath. Contacted by phone, it was found that they do not have access to drinking water or food. 

It is very cold, and there are no clothes that can protect against the cold. Therefore, we request that they be rescued and brought down by the military.

The women of the Rajkot businessman’s family said.

Very worried about one of my sons being trapped: 

One woman said that yesterday was a very terrible situation. Now, if the atmosphere is clear, we can get out of this and go home.

 One of my sons is very worried about being trapped. “We, a group of 16, left Rajkot for Chardham,” the businessman’s family said. We have all been trapped in Kedarnath since day one. Today the atmosphere is clear. We hope that Lord Bholanath will come out of this crisis.

The situation is worse in Kedarnath.

Roads closed due to landslides in several places: Professor.

Yashwantbhai Goswami of Kansagara College, Rajkot, said that he had set out on a pilgrimage to Chardham with a team of 30 people and had reached Sitapur base camp below Kedarnath.

 Still, after reaching there, the movement was stopped. Pilgrims are in a safe place, but the journey is being hampered due to heavy rains, roads have been closed due to landslides at several places along the way.

Visitors had to stand in line for hours amid heavy rains.

Horse, scaffolding and helicopter services are currently suspended in Kedarnath. As many as 3,000 devotees had gathered in Kedarnath on Sunday, and the pilgrims were disturbed due to limited arrangements, including horses, palanquins and helicopters. 

In addition, visitors had to stand in queues for hours amid heavy rains on Sunday, while some were forced to return without visiting.

No one from Gujarat is currently on a pilgrimage to Chardham.

Professor Goswami further said that those on a pilgrimage to Chardham should not start their pilgrimage in the next two to three days considering the prevailing situation.

 Rajendrasinh Jadeja, who organized the pilgrimage from Rajkot to Chardham, said that 35 people had joined him on the pilgrimage to Chardham. The system is instructing them to stay in a safe place wherever they are.
