The Novel Coronavirus has impacted Hollywood projects, Including Thor: Love and thunder, and many other Marvel projects. The upcoming Marvel cinematic universe movie will mark the 4th part of Thor. It will begin its shooting in early 2021. 

‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ to begin filming in January 2021:

According to some Hollywood news reports, Chris Hemsworth will resume his shooting for Thor: Love and Thunder in January 2021. He will also feature in Furiosa Spinoff’s film. It will star Anya Taylor-Joy in the titular role and Yahya Abdul-Mateen 2, too. Before shooting for Mad Max: Fury Road prequel, He will complete shooting for Thor’s 4th solo movie. 

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the movie’s production had to be delayed. It was scheduled to shoot in July 2020 but then got delayed. It will now start its production in January 2021. It was about to hit theatres on November 5, 2021, but got shifted to February 18, 2022. Disney and Marvel have decided to release the film a week earlier that is February 11, 2022. 

Chris Hemsworth will mark his 8th appearance for Marvel with Thor: Love and Thunder. He has portrayed the character of God Of Thunder in almost every Marvel film. He is the only member of the original six Avengers to get a fourth solo film. 

Natalie Portman will return as Jane Foster in the MCU. She was seen in Thor and its sequel, playing the love interest of Chris Hemsworth’s character. Portman will lift Thor’s hammer, Mjolnir in the upcoming movie. She will be the female incarnation of Thor in the MCU, just like the comics.
