War is raging between Russia and Ukraine. Students from all over Gujarat, including Rajkot, are in big trouble in Ukraine. When Bansi Ramani and Devanshi Dafda , two students from Gondal, reached home, they were given a grand welcome by Bansi Ramani’s family.
The family was happy that the daughter took action. The family sweetened each other by chanting Bansi Aarti. As well as cutting the cake, the family celebrated a happy occasion. On this occasion, the family members were huddled together and crying.
Welcomed at Rajkot Airport
With the help of the Government of India, these students are being airlifted from the Poland-Romania border in phases. Yesterday, six students from Rajkot were welcomed by the Collectorate.
Devanshi Dafda and Bansi Ramani, two students from Gondal, arrived at Rajkot airport from Delhi today. Both were held here by their families. The joy of reaching home was overflowing on the faces of both the students.

A direct flight from Budapest, Hungary, arrived in Delhi yesterday. In the Golden Temple, both the students bowed their heads and prayed. Later this morning, both reached Rajkot airport via Delhi flight.
Devanshi Dafda’s father gave her a bouquet at the Rajkot airport and welcomed his daughter. Also, Bansi Ramani’s family members held her daughter with a book. As soon as the two reached Gondal, there was a feeling of happiness in the family.

Rajkot 6 students returned to Rajkot from Ukraine yesterday. Om Jani, Kishan Mehta, Dhara Vora, Jensi Bhetaria, and Happy Bhalani. When a Jasdan student named Damini Rathod reached Jasdan directly at her home.
With this, 45 students from Rajkot in Ukraine have come to the administrative system. 7 more students are yet to arrive today. All the students were welcomed by Rajkot District Collector Arun Mahesh Babu yesterday.

Ever since the war started, we people have been terrified. The sound of a bomb blast 50 kilometers away was heard at our hostel. Many of our friends are still trapped, but we are glad to have them.

“The situation in our city in Ukraine was under control, but most of the students in Kiev and Kharkiv are in bad condition. They are still in the metro tunnels and bunkers,” said Dhara Vora, a student who studied MBBS online.
