Ranbir Kapoor is on a mission to save the world from evil forces in the trailer for Brahmastra.

Trailer for Brahmastra: Ranbir Kapoor plays Shiva, a commoner with a connection to the divine ancient weapon Brahmastra. Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna, also Mouni Roy appear in the Ayan Mukerji film.

The much-anticipat camper for Ayan Mukerji’s magnum opus Brahmastra Part 1: Shiva was release on Wednesday morning. The trailer establishes the tone for the film, which has been dubbed India’s answer to fantasy epics such as Lord of the Rings. The three-minute trailer is jam-pack with visually stunning moments, impressive VFX shots, and a sense of the film’s grand scale.

The nearly three-minute trailer begins with Amitabh Bachchan’s voice-over telling us how the five elements’ powers have been stored in ‘astras’ (weapons). Since ancient times and that this is the story of the God of all Astras- the Brahmastra. We then meet Ranbir Kapoor’s Shiva. A boy next door who has no idea he is somehow link to the Brahmastra.

Next, he meets Isha, and we see them falling in love before Isha, and we discover Shiva’s secret: fire does not burn him.

Shiva realizes that ancient forces are at work in the world, with two factions fighting for control of the Brahmastra. Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra will be discharge on September 9. For the first time, Ranbir appears alongside their wife, Alia Bhatt. They started dating after meeting on the set of the film. Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna, and Mouni Roy also appear in the movie. The film is the first in a trilogy aim at establishing India’s cinematic universe, known as the Astraverse.

The film has been defer several times over the years. It began production in 2017 and, after delays caused by the pandemic and other factors. Reshoots ended earlier this year as Ranbir also Alia shot a song in Varanasi. It is one of the most expensive also ambitious Indian films ever made, with a report budget of around 300 crores.
