So far, 57 people have died in the Lathtakand. After this, now the government has come into action. Home Minister Harsh Sanghvi has taken strict action in this matter, in which Botad SP Karanraj Vaghela and Ahmedabad Rural SP Virendra Singh Yadav have also been transferred.

 While the dysp of Botad and Dholka has been suspended. Along with this, Dhandhuka’s PI KP Jadeja has also been arrested. 8 officers, including DySP and Inspector, have been suspended. 7 more accused will be produced in court today. The police will seek a 10-day remand.

So far, 57 people have died

in the Lattha incident. On Monday, July 25, the first death due to the Lattha incident was reported in Rojid village of Barwala. After that, the fatalities gradually increased; on Tuesday, 26th, the death toll was 55. While two more people died yesterday, the death toll has reached 57. 12 people were killed in the Rojid village of Barwala taluka. When 8 people of Ranpur taluka were pushed to death while going to get drunk. 2 women are also included at the end of the Lathtakand.

On the other hand, tight police arrangements were made during the funeral procession. In the village, the families of the deceased and the villagers were feeling grief.
