Manutd travel to Leicester,
Chelsea host Wolves:
The spotlight will firmly be on the match between fifth-placed Leicester City who hosts third-placed Manchester United, at the King Power Stadium. If Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s red army manages to avoid defeat, then they will qualify for the next season’s Champions League after one year’s absence. Leicester City will also back themselves for appearing in Europe’s elite club competition for the first time since the 2016/17 campaign. Meanwhile, Chelsea needs a point to qualify in the Top 4 when they play Wolves at home. Frank Lampard’s blues may not qualify if they lose, and Leicester-Manutd plays out a draw.
Three clubs vie for one
survival spot:
Down
at the bottom, three clubs need a result to secure their Premier League status
for next season with neck-to-neck goal difference adding more to the drama.
Bournemouth travels to Everton in need of 3 points and so do Watford, when they
travel to the Emirates to face Arsenal. Aston Villa is the third side which
needs to match the Watford result to survive.
The Premier League will start
its new season 2020-21 on September 12 and finish the season on 23rd May.
