Twists and turns in store for the Premier League season-ending.

Lots of drama to unfold on the last day of the Premier League fixtures, which has a nail-biting race for the Champions League places and an intense relegation battle.

On Sunday, the longest Premier League season is coming to an end, and it looks set for a dramatic finish as Manchester UnitedChelsea, and Leicester City battle for Champions League spots, and a do-or-die relegation battle which involves Aston Villa, Watford, and Bournemouth. The English Premier League season is coming to an end on Sunday after being plagued for the Coronavirus pandemic, for 3 months. The league resumed without the fans in the stadium on June 17 and is gunning to finish one a high with crucial Top 4 and relegation battles. The Premier League’s 2019=20 campaign was a one-sided affair in terms of its title, but it provided great twists and turns in the race for Top 4, Europa League places, relegation spots, and the Golden Boot winner have to be settled in the last round of fixtures.

Manutd travel to Leicester, Chelsea host Wolves:

The spotlight will firmly be on the match between fifth-placed Leicester City who hosts third-placed Manchester United, at the King Power Stadium. If Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s red army manages to avoid defeat, then they will qualify for the next season’s Champions League after one year’s absence. Leicester City will also back themselves for appearing in Europe’s elite club competition for the first time since the 2016/17 campaign. Meanwhile, Chelsea needs a point to qualify in the Top 4 when they play Wolves at home. Frank Lampard’s blues may not qualify if they lose, and Leicester-Manutd plays out a draw.

Three clubs vie for one survival spot:

Down at the bottom, three clubs need a result to secure their Premier League status for next season with neck-to-neck goal difference adding more to the drama. Bournemouth travels to Everton in need of 3 points and so do Watford, when they travel to the Emirates to face Arsenal. Aston Villa is the third side which needs to match the Watford result to survive.

The Premier League will start its new season 2020-21 on September 12 and finish the season on 23rd May.
