Gotten some information about any difficulty and obstructions being looked at by individuals of different states while purchasing properties in Jammu and Kashmir, association clergyman of state (home undertakings) Nityanand Rai said that no such occurrence had been accounted for.

The Center on Tuesday revealed to Parliament that two individuals from outside Jammu and Kashmir had bought properties in the association domain since August 2019 when the area was deprived of its unique status that kept non-occupants from doing as such.

 “According to the data given by the Government of Jammu and Kashmir, two people from outside J&K (Jammu and Kashmir) have bought two properties in the association region of Jammu and Kashmir since August 2019,” association clergyman of state (home issues) Nityanand Rai said in a composed answer in Lok Sabha. However, Rai didn’t give subtleties of the properties or about their proprietors.

Gave some information about any difficulty and obstructions being looked at by individuals of different states while purchasing properties in Jammu and Kashmir; Rai said no such occasion had been accounted for.

Non-farming areas in J&K: 

The Center in October last year informed guidelines are permitting outcasts to purchase non-farming areas in Jammu and Kashmir. 

Property in J&K: 

Non-residents were expelled from purchasing or possessing undaunted property in Jammu and Kashmir, settling there for all time, or profiting from state-supported grant plans before the invalidation of Article 35A in August 2019. The established arrangement gave extraordinary rights to Jammu and Kashmir’s lasting occupants.

Last year section 17 J&K:

The Center in October 2020 Issued a paper warning discarding the expression “lasting resident of the state” from Section 17 of the Jammu and Kashmir Development Act that made arrangements with the removal of land in the association region. 

In subsection 2, the warning subbed the “entire of the State” with the “entire of the association region of Jammu and Kashmir”.

 Final: It additionally advised discarding “being the perpetual occupant of the State”, making ready for everybody to purchase land. Instead, the rural land has been held for ranchers.
