The day will be acceptable to somewhat cloudy and unstable weather conditions, the National Centre of Meteorology has said.

Temperatures in UAE will fall due to unstable weather conditions: 

Light to medium winds will blow. Temperatures could go as 25ºC in the nation. Mercury is predicted to increase to 22ºC in Abu Dhabi and in Dubai.

However, temperatures could fall to 14ºC in Abu Dhabi and in Dubai and 3ºC in hilly areas.

Today’s lowest temperature was registered in Raknah, Al Ain, where the mercury fell to 6.3ºC.

The management has issued a yellow alert to citizens of fog formation. It stated, “A chance of fog building with a decline in horizontal visibility, which may decrease even further at times over several internal and coastal areas from 1 am till 9 am on Monday.”

It will be humid by evening and Tuesday morning over several coastal and internal places, with a chance of fog or mist of mist shape. Levels will vary from 30 to 90 per cent in Abu Dhabi and Dubai.

Weather conditions in UAE to remain unstable

Situations at sea will be acceptable in the Arabian Gulf and in the Oman sea.

Traffics due to unstable weather conditions: 

Sharjah Police Central Operations has received almost 29,000 calls in the last five days, from Tuesday to Saturday, on the helpline contact numbers 999 and 901. 

The Traffic and Patrols Department had over 15 accidents during the same period.

Colonel Dr Jassim bin Hadda Al Suwaidi, Director of the Operations Department, revealed that call centre 999 answered promptly to 27,147 calls. 

In comparison, call centre 901 had over 2808 calls – including questions from the public and clients and complaints and recommendations.
