According to the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission, the Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Service Selection Board (UPSESSB), now headquartered in Prayagraj, has also agreed to set up a pool of subject experts so that the recruitments conducted by it can be implemented rapidly.

Decision Taken by Chairman Viresh Kumar:

Topic experts will be invited online, for this reason, officials aware of the development said. According to a senior UPSESSB official seeking anonymity, a decision in this regards was taken at an important meeting of the Board chaired by its own Chairman Viresh Kumar on September 23 and the minutes of which have now been verified.

In over 4500 government-aided secondary schools spread throughout the province, UPSESSB hires qualified graduate teachers (TGT), lecturers (PGT), and principals against current vacancies.

As official Stated:

The Board has agreed to step up its procurement process, building a pool of subject experts for this purpose. Based on their knowledge, experience, and merit, those experts will be selected.

The Board will then assist the recruitment by leading to the setting of question papers for examinations, appraisal and even being part of interview committees, the official said.

The meeting also agreed that the Board would submit a recommendation to the state government to amend the Selection Board Rules of the Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Service, 1998, to pave the way for the allocation and modification of selected candidates to the level of the director (secondary education) by the organisation.

As long as the district inspector of schools (DIOSs) concerned neglected to adequately scrutinize and submit the requisition of teachers as per vacant positions, the need for the amendment was felt, and as a result, the chosen candidates are often not permitted to join the institutions assigned to them by the Board.

In agreement with the decision of the Supreme Court, the Board has also agreed to encourage the requirement for ad-hoc teachers to apply to all prospective Board hires online via the NIC e-examination site.

The provision in the program to allow ad-hoc teachers to validate the service by the Dios concerned will also be rendered accordingly.

In addition, if the submission obtained electronically from ad-hoc instructor applicants fails to include information such as the post involved, subject and reservation, etc. in the first stage, there is a provision for obtaining electronic information.
