Vadodara Sub-Inspector Dies from Suspected Heat Stroke

Vadodara: A 51-year-old assistant sub-inspector, attached to Chhani police headquarters, passed away due to suspected heat stroke after showing symptoms of vomiting and anxiety on Thursday.

Health Issues Leading Up to Death of Vadodara Sub-Inspector:

The family members of the deceased, Dilip Malusare, said he had been unwell for the last three days. However, on Thursday, he complained of anxiety and was rushed to SSG Hospital, where he was declared dead on arrival.

According to the Vadodara Police, Malusare was attached to the Varnama police station before the Lok Sabha polls and had been transferred to Chhani headquarters after he suffered a paralytic stroke earlier this year.

Investigation into the Cause of Death:

The SSG Hospital said that Malusare’s death would be referred to the death audit committee that is examining the suspected deaths due to the heatwave.
