Varun Dhawan Exits No Entry 2 Due to Scheduling Conflicts

Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan has reportedly withdrawn from Anees Bazmee’s highly anticipated comedy sequel No Entry 2, joining Diljit Dosanjh in departing from the project. The exit comes due to scheduling conflicts with his commitment to Bhediya 2, leaving the producers to search for new cast members alongside Arjun Kapoor.

The sequel was originally planned to feature Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Arjun Kapoor, with Diljit reportedly set to play a triple role. However, after Diljit’s departure—attributed to scheduling conflicts by producer Boney Kapoor—the project’s timeline shifted, creating complications for Varun’s involvement.

Production Changes Impact Star’s Commitment

According to sources close to the production speaking to Mid-Day, Varun was genuinely excited about No Entry 2. “Varun was really looking forward to No Entry 2,” the source revealed. However, the revised schedule following Diljit’s exit conflicted with the actor’s prior commitment to Bhediya 2, the sequel to his 2022 supernatural comedy.

“Now Varun’s schedule is set for Bhediya 2. We’re working on new arrangements. Arjun Kapoor is still very much involved,” the insider added. Despite these reports, the producers have not officially confirmed Varun’s departure from the project.

Boney Kapoor Addresses Cast Changes

Producer Boney Kapoor previously addressed Diljit Dosanjh’s exit in an interview with NDTV, stating, “Yes, we have parted on good terms as the dates were not matching our needs. Hopefully, we will collaborate on a Punjabi film soon.” The producer has yet to comment on Varun’s reported exit.

On the professional front, both Varun Dhawan and Diljit Dosanjh are set to reunite in JP Dutta’s Border 2, starring alongside Sunny Deol and Ahaan Shetty. As No Entry 2 undergoes casting changes, fans await official announcements about the film’s new ensemble.
