On Friday, Vikrant Massey married his longtime girlfriend, Sheetal Thakur. Their wedding photos were widely circulated on the internet. He was dressed in a white sherwani with a pink safa (turban), and she was dressed in a red lehenga. They were photographed sitting at the mandap in one photograph.
Fan clubs had previously shared Vikrant and Sheetal’s Haldi ceremony video. They dance to Desi Girl while their faces were smear with turmeric paste. They hugged each other after that.
Vikrant and Sheetal, who appeared in the first season of news web series Broken But Beautiful, married in a low-key Roka ceremony in 2019. Their wedding, however, was postpone due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
In an interview with The Times of India last year, Vikrant stated that he would have already married Sheetal if not for the pandemic. However, when asked if his parents were interest in marrying, he reply that they were too preoccupied with their own lives. “Woh kehte hai ki beta shaadi pe kab aana hai buss bata dena,” he joked.
Vikrant began his television career with Dhoom Machado Dhoom, Balika Vadhu, and Dharam Veer. He made his Bollywood debut in Lootera as a supporting actor and appeared in films such as Chhapaak, Haseen Dillruba, and Ginny Weds Sunny. He’s also appeare in web series like Mirzapur, Made In Heaven, and Criminal Justice.
Vikrant is currently preparing to release the Zee5 original Love Hostel, which delves into the topic of honor killings. Shanker Raman directed the film, which also stars Sanya Malhotra and Bobby Deol. It will be release on February 25th.
